Roadblocks recycled into Adirondack chairs
Harshpaul | Jan 5 2009

The junkyard is where roadblocks go after spending some time on the road, but Design students Jeffrey Gerlach and Andrew Stanley have given roadblocks a second life by turning them into chairs. These Adirondack chairs are made from the Department of Public Works’ roadblocks. A chair comes from the assembly of two roadblock pieces and they can be a cost-effective option for public seating. These chairs work well towards reducing urban waste and they’re kinda cool too!
