Corvette ZR1 based Bertone Mantide is decidedly one hot car. Created by Jason Castriota, it is built on the ZR1, with Italian influence clearly visible in the design. Unveiled at Shanghai, the car saves 100 kgs in weight by the extensive use of lightweight materials like carbon fiber and magnesium. Improvements in aerodynamics see the car getting 25% less drag and 30% more downforce as compared to a stock Z1. The car tops at 217 mph and 62mph from zero comes in a lightning fast 3.2 seconds. No word on production or pricing yet.
