Parajet SkyCar ready for the skies, starts taking preorders

Flying cars are getting closer to the streets and the skies, Moller and Terrafugia are already taking preorders for their flying cars, and now Parajet has joined the league and is offering its SkyCar for preorder. The road legal SkyCar is powered by an R1 engine, and can reach a top speed of 140mph and rush from zero to 62mph in just 4.2 seconds. While in air, the SkyCar can get a maximum speed of 100 mph, it requires a takeoff speed of 37 mph and can stay in air for 200 miles.
You can preorder the Parajet SkyCar for a refundable £10,000 ($16,381) for the estimated price of £50,000 ($81,700). Parajet plans to start deliveries in late 2010.
