Mazda Kaan wins the LA Design Challenge

Mazda’s entry to the 2008 LA Design Challenge has been crowned the winner. Mazda’s superfast racer was able to impress the judges, and walk away with the crown. Sadly, our favorite Audi R25 didn’t make the cut, but then the Kaan is a deserving winner. The oversized wheels of the electricity powered Kaan can take it to speeds up to 250mph, and the futuristic design is based on electric fields and textures used seen in nature. The concept has a safety capsule for the driver, and is ideal for team racing and has minimal recharging time.
