Limited edition Land Rover Defender gets some luxury frills
Harshpaul | Jun 11 2009

Land Rover has unveiled two trims of the Defender, the Defender Ice and the Defender Fire. Both limited edition models come with a number of “luxury” additions. Exteriors get five spoke alloy wheels, black side runners, LED rear lamps with clear lenses, and a unique front light treatment. The interiors have been worked upon as well; leather and Alcantara trims with embossed LR logo on the head restraints, glass sunroof, contrast stitching, and a number of accessories.

Both variants have a metallic twin-tone color scheme. Fire comes in “Vesuvius” orange and “Santorini” black; and Ice comes in “Alaska” white combined with the same Santorini black. The sticker price on the limited edition models is at 68,400 Euros. Production numbers are limited to 850 units, and the models will be available in most of Europe, Ukraine, China, Hong Kong, South Africa, Singapore and Brazil.
