Japan sort of led the superfast train revolution from the front, and though they don’t have the fastest trains anymore (as of yet) their bullet trains just keep getting better. The Shinkansen will get a new, faster member running on the track at a crazy speed like 200 mph. These new E5 series bullet trains from JR East are made of aluminum alloy frame. JR East has ordered 590 cars at 10 cars per train for the service scheduled to start in 2011.
