Infiniti is celebrating its 20 years in business, and the automaker unveiled an interesting car in the one-off Infiniti G37 coupe artcar. The car is a project of Infiniti Canada and has its design and exterior hand-painted by Montreal artist Heidi Taillefer. Inspiration for the car came from the International circus group Cirque du Soleil, which incidentally, is also celebrating its 25th anniversary.
Heidi Taillefer spent nearly a month painting the car, and her design “Ligozzi” was selected from a number of design concepts submitted by several artists. The car has not undergone any sort of structural changes so as to remain safe and driveable. The car will tour a number of locations with Cirque du Soleil and will eventually be auctioned for charity.
