Gardening on the fast track: Williams HQ has hedge shaped like F1 car
Harshpaul | Sep 25 2009

Visitors to the Williams F1 headquarters get treated to a garden that reflects their love for F1 racing. The HQ has a hedge shaped like an 11-foot long Formula 1 car and 6-foot pit lane mechanics. The car is made from six plants, while each mechanic is made of two plants. The scene is of a pit stop with mechanics busy changing the car’s wheels.

Ferrari must be burning with jealousy right now, the model was initially made for Ferrari by an Italian nursery but Williams swooped, bought the design and modified it to look like a Williams car. Nevertheless, it’s a whole lot of work for gardeners at the facility.
