BMW’s fabled M1 supercar gets rendered again

Unveiling of the EfficientDynamics concept at Frankfurt gave life to the age old rumors of the coming of BMW’s environment friendly M1 supercar. We saw renderings of the supercar expected to debut in 2012 a few days back, and now there are more, rather similar renderings of the upcoming car, this time from Edmunds.
It actually makes sense, considering that BMW’s competitor Mercedes-Benz is preparing an electric version of the 2010 SLS AMG, and Audi may realize the e-Tron concept, so BMW will like to have something to ward off the competition.
