Artist transforms bike chains into light fixtures

Somehow, we can’t really figure a connection between bike chains and light fixtures, and that probably is why we are not artists. Not so in the case of Carolina Fontoura, an artist who has made stunning light fixtures using reclaimed bicycle chains. Her lamps show a certain touch of Steampunkish-Victorian looks, which only makes the effect better. To top it all, she even uses recycled bicycle parts to create chandeliers. Green and good-looking, that’s always a combination we can vouch for.
