The Arcimoto Pulse electric vehicle is a three wheeled car that seats accommodates two in tandem seating, has zero emissions and runs off a lead-acid battery. It is quite unusual to see the old lead-acid batteries in new cars, but the company probably shaved off huge chunks of money from research and development of the car by going the lead-acid way.
It charges off a standard 110V outlet in 6-8 hours, and can provide a range of 50-100 miles with a top speed of 55mph and 80 lb-ft of torque. The zero emission car will sell for less than $20k when it becomes available next year. That is all good, but the looks of the car certainly need to be worked upon, it may have many things moving in its favor, but the not so attractive looks can possibly negate all the positives.
