Another day, another iPhone controlled car
Harshpaul | Nov 10 2009

Once upon a time, iPhones controlling cars while acting as remote controls was a novelty and interesting sight to behold. It isn’t any less cool now, but with a number of iPhone hacks and apps doing the same thing, it has lost the “interest” factor by some measure. The video shows an Oldsmobile Delta being controlled by an iPhone. Waterloo Labs were able to bring about the transition in just a few weeks, using some potentiometers, motors, Compact RIO embedded controller, and LabVIEW. A Wi-Fi system lets the iPhone communicate with the car and stay in charge.
